RAMSES: LUJO EN LA PUERTA DE ALCALA

Desde diciembre pasado la noche de Madrid tiene uno de los multiespacios de ocio más importantes y fashion de toda Europa. Se trata de Ramses, un cosmopolita e innovador concepto de ocio en plena Puerta de Alcalá, con diseño y decoración de Philippe Starck y una oferta gastronómica y de copas que le ha convertido en uno los pilares del ocio moderno en la capital. De la mano de la excelente María Forcada, su eficaz directora de comunicación, fui a cenar al Petit, terminando la alegre velada con un cóctel rodeado de pijos trajeados.
Ramses se divide en tres plantas, Club (bar de copas), Petit (restaurante informal cocktail bar y afterwork) y Bistro (restaurante gastronómico). Esta decorado por Philippe Starck (que pone el toque kitsch con sus recargadas decoraciones, sobre todo las de los baños de arriba, en plan centro comercial de Dubai o esas mesas retroiluminadas tan monas pero que no dejan ver demasiado lo que se come), cuyo inconfundible sello adquiere mucha más fuerza con los diseños de Luis Urculo, que colaborando con Starck ha llenado de su singulares graffities los espectaculares paneles de pizarra, y ha diseñado todo el grafismo del local.
Tomamos varias botellas de Möet Chandon, unos mejillones con salsa de curry, la hamburguesa de gallina, el cangrejo de cáscara blanda rebozado y otras delicias más de batalla, que estaban bastante correctas, sin ser especialmente caras. Te sirven y atienden bien y en plan modeleo, pues tanto ellas como ellos miden más de 1,85m y van acicalados y arreglados como si fueran a salir de picos pardos. Es el tipo de servicio que se lleva en estos clubes fashion…
La vida nocturna de Ramses se centra en el cocktaill bar del Petit, el afterwork y before club de moda, perfecto para tomarse tragos tan exclusivos como el Ramses Cocktail (Stolichnaya, Eristoff Black. Zumo de arándanos, Morin de frambuesa, Passoa y Absenta) o aperitivos sofisticados y lujosos como ostras, almejas, caviar iraní o fresas con chocolate. Abarrota el local gente guapa, trajeada, enjoyada que gusta de ver y ser vista consumidora de productos y espacios de lujo comercial: empresarios, directores de revistas, actores, modelos… Sin duda el lugar más chic de Madrid en estos momentos.
