EXPOSICION AVANTNERDISMO

El jueves 17 enero 2008 inauguro mi nueva exposic�n “Avantnerdismo” en ella, adelant�ndome a todo y a todos, vuelvo a la carga con una muestra de fotograf�as en la que traigo a Espa�a, por primera vez, el concepto de “Avant Nerdismo”, que es la tendencia que arrasa en los c�rculos m�s “arties” de Nueva York ahora mismo, y que a trav�s de este trabajo en el que juego con algunos de los m�ltiples iconos del Avant Nerd mundial, convierto en una tendencia generacional.

Antes de que la tendencia se queme y llegue, un suponer, a los escaparates de H&M o a las p�ginas de alguna revista “moderniqui” de la mano de alg�n estilista de provincias, y procl�mandome totalmente avant-nerd, he hecho esta fina pieza de arte pop, en la que desvelo y juego con los iconos nerd que m�s me han impactado �ltimamente: la infanta Elena, Jem & the Holograms, Speak & Spell, im�genes bizarras de la cultura popular americana y espa�ola, el oso Tous, el bakalismo, la tuna, el messeger, internet, convenciones Manga, etc.

Y una serie de retratos en toda su crudeza de caras de geeks, nerds, vejez, freaks, para completar un estudio antropol�gico en toda regla, pero en forma de exposici�n. Mis fuentes de inspiraci�n: la calle, internet, mis amistades, mi vida… y mis herramientas de trabajo: una obsoleta c�mara digital Olympus de 4 megapixels, la c�mara de un Nokia N95 8Gb, im�genes p�blicas de internet v�a google, irc, Messenger, photobucket o yahoo groups, un pc y el programa de retoque fotogr�fico para torpes Photostudio 2000.
